One of 15 pendants I created to challenge myself to make something every day. Every day for approximately 17 days I sat down at my jewelry bench and created one pendant. The goal was to get my creative juices flowing and to stop worrying so much about the outcome. Energy Reading:
The energy from this gemstone is the crossroads where the underworld and the upperworld meet. Where darkness and light meet. It's very much giving gray zone. Sometimes to truly step into our power we must venture into the underworld and get comfortable navigating our shadows. In our dualistic society it is seen as "bad" or "evil" to associate with darkness. But in more psychological terms, this darkness is only our shadow. Our shadow are the parts of ourself that we had to suppress in order to survive and be accepted into society. These parts of ourselves will always exist within us and often times will rule from behind the scenes. These shadow aspects are associated with any stories we tell about why we cant do something we really actually want to do. Taking the risk and spending time with your shadow might be scary at first, it's often painful and brings up heavy emotions, but if you have the courage to navigate your underworld, you will find a place filled with potential to really become whoever you desire to become. Your shadow is the key to unblocking yourself. Your shadow holds the secrets of your true self, and the only way to truly shine your authentic light is to ask yourself the hard questions and to look at what hurts. Often times these things hurt because they really just want to be loved and accepted, and if you have the courage to love the parts of yourself that you once rejected, you will find yourself in a field of wildflowers. An expansive, authentic place where anything is possible. This gemstone and design offers you support in the underworld. It's a reminder that you are brave, and you can do hard things.
